TWC Group :: Executive Biography

Mike Sweeny is responsible for recruiting the executives that round out the management teams at NextStage Capital's portfolio companies. The executive team is critical for any emerging growth company, and Mike's expertise is in finding executives that are experienced and proven and that complement the existing management team.

Mike brings to TWC Group more than 25 years of experience in various human resources and recruitment disciplines with Fortune 100 companies as well as smaller high tech firms. Before joining TWC, Mike served as director of Human Resources for SEMCOR, Inc., where he directed the human resources organization for the company's 14 multi-state locations and supervised a staff of six. He also managed the company's staffing function, recruiting for highly technical positions.

Prior to that, Mike was manager of Human Resources for Erico Fastening Systems, where he was responsible for the entire human resources organization and took charge of the multi-shift recruiting function. Mike started his career in HR at RCA Corporation and Ecolaire, Inc.

Mike holds a Bachelors degree in Political Science from University of Delaware and a Masters degree in Public Administration from Syracuse University.
