TWC Group :: Executive Biography

As the company's founder, Terry Williams leads TWC Group's overall strategic direction. A serial entrepreneur, strategic business advisor and venture capitalist, Terry's career has been dedicated to changing the way that executives and investors look at building businesses. His depth of experience in designing human capital strategies to build successful businesses led him to the establish TWC Group (formerly T. Williams Consulting) to share how these best practices can create competitive advantage.

In addition to building companies, Terry has served as strategic advisor and investor to numerous organizations. As co-founder and a managing partner of NextStage Capital, he evaluates and invests in undiscovered early stage software and hardware companies, developing and implementing their sales and business development functions to position them as "investments of choice" for future funding.

Prior to TWC, Terry served as strategic consultant to Dialogic Corporation, building the company from a 45-person organization to over 1,300 employees within nine years. Before that, he worked with DuPont to build new division DX Imaging Corp., a joint partnership with Xerox Corporation.

Terry has been widely published in print and on the Internet in such venues as HR Executive Magazine, Harvard Management Update, Network Magazine, Princeton Business Journal and vcapital.com. He has also appeared on CNNfn and NBC Nightly News.

Terry holds a degree in Criminology, with additional studies in Psychology, from the Indiana University of Pennsylvania. He serves on a number of Boards of Directors and Advisory Boards, including Integral Molecular and Quantiva.
