The Foster Group developed the Executive Diagnostic based on over 35 combined years of in-depth research and experience in clinical testing and behavioral health. The Foster Group consists of Jody J. Foster, MD, MBA, and Reed D. Goldstein, PhD.

Jody J. Foster, MD, MBA

Jody Foster is Executive Medical Director of Penn Behavioral Health Corporate Services at University of Pennsylvania and Chair of the Psychiatry Department at Pennsylvania Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania Health System. She is clinical associate professor of Psychiatry at University of Pennsylvania School of Medicine.

Dr. Foster received her MD from Medical College of Pennsylvania in a combined, accelerated BA/MD program with Lehigh University. She completed her residency and chief residency in psychiatry and a fellowship in clinical psychopharmacology and mood disorders at the Institute of Pennsylvania Hospital in Philadelphia. Her education also includes a MBA with a concentration in Finance from the Wharton School at University of Pennsylvania. She is board certified by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology.

Throughout her career, Dr. Foster has worked on an individual basis with executives in treatment. She has actively contributed to the University of Pennsylvania Health System in her 18 years of employment there. She is currently chair of the Physician Health Committee at the Pennsylvania Hospital. She is also on the Admissions Committee and the Strategic Planning Committee at the College of Physicians of Philadelphia.

Dr. Foster is a member of the American Psychiatric Association, the American College of Physician Executives, the American College of Physicians, and the American College of Psychiatrists. She also serves as an examiner for the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology.

Reed D. Goldstein, PhD

Reed D. Goldstein is Associate Director, Adult Treatment Psychiatric Inpatient Service, at Pennsylvania Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania Health System. He is clinical assistant professor of Psychiatry at the University of Pennsylvania School of Medicine.

Dr. Goldstein received a BA in psychology from La Salle University, a MA in psychology from New York University and a PhD in clinical psychology from St. John's University in New York. He completed his pre-doctoral internship and post-doctoral fellowship at the Institute of Pennsylvania Hospital in Philadelphia. Dr. Goldstein's recognition in the professional community includes:

With a special interest in psychotherapy as well as neuropsychological and psychological testing, Dr. Goldstein has treated or evaluated executives, litigants, and patients referred by their physicians. He has published research results and review articles in numerous professional journals and book chapters, and presented at regional and national meetings on topics such as diagnostic assessment, personality, and mood disorders.

Dr. Goldstein is a member of the American Psychological Association including Clinical Neuropsychology Division, and of the American College of Forensic Examiners.
